Childrens Art and Craft

PLEASE NOTE

This year the children’s art will be shown at a special art exhibition at the Eston Primary School. The art will be judged at the school and trophies and awards will be presented at the official show opening and prize giving ceremony on Friday 28th August at 18h00.
A selection of Art WILL be exhibited at the Nedbank Eston Show

(Time and date of the Art Exhibition will be confirmed by the school.)

Trophies

  • Beaumont Eston Farmers’ Association Junior Trophy –For the exhibitor gaining the highest aggregate in Children’s Art.
  • Eric Roe-Scott Floating Trophy – For the most outstanding exhibit by a boy in the Art Section.
  • Eva Roe-Scott Floating Trophy – For the most outstanding exhibit by a girl in the Art Section.
  • Junior Prize – For the most outstanding exhibit by a boy in the Art Section.
  • Junior Prize – For the most outstanding exhibit by a girl in the Art Section.
  • Ian Smith Craft Trophy—Most Points by a senior boy
  • Fay Smith Craft Trophy—Most points by a senior girl.
  • Junior Prize—Best on show by a boy (Gr 1-3)
  • Junior Prize—Best on show by a girl (Gr 1-3)

CHILDREN’S ART REGULATIONS

  • See General Regulations
  • All Artwork and crafts must be submitted by 15h30 on Thursday 27th August 2020.
  • Judging will take place on Friday 28th August 2020.
  • Each exhibit must have the child’s name, section and class attached to the front of the exhibit.
  • All art may be done using any medium, unless specified.
  • Art may be mounted.

Children’s Art & Craft Categories

The Grade 1 to Grade 7 pupils will be exhibiting a selection of works done during the course of the year in both the art and craft categories using a variety of mediums.
